Who We Are — FOOON Supplements
Dr Periklis Katopodis — Founder of FOOON Supplements, Molecular Oncologist, Athens Greece

Origin

Science
as a
starting point.

Most supplement brands start with a market gap. FOOON started with a decade inside molecular research — and a growing frustration that the science rarely made it into the products people were actually using.

"I wanted to build the kind of products I couldn't find when I needed them most — made properly, priced honestly, and worth trusting."

From MSc to PostDoc, the research spanned liquid biopsy development, molecular diagnostics, and clinical and pharmaceutical environments. That work builds a specific way of thinking about evidence — and a low tolerance for formulations that don't hold up to scrutiny.

The frustration was straightforward: liposomal delivery works. The absorption data is clear and well-documented. But the products that used it were inconsistent, opaque, or priced beyond reach — particularly for the people who needed them most.

FOOON is the product of that frustration made useful. Every formulation is built the way a researcher builds it — with a clear rationale, transparent ingredients, and no interest in shortcuts.

Background

A decade in molecular oncology

The research spanned liquid biopsy, molecular diagnostics, and clinical environments — building a precise, evidence-driven standard that shaped how every FOOON formulation is evaluated and built.

Observation

The science wasn't reaching the products

Liposomal delivery is well-supported in literature. But the products using it were inconsistent, opaque, or inaccessible for the people — working professionals, students, anyone under sustained cognitive load — who needed them most.

Response

Build the thing that should exist

FOOON is the direct result of that frustration made useful. Formulated with a documented rationale, transparent ingredients, and manufactured in an FDA-registered facility — not because it makes a nice story, but because it's the only way to do it properly.

"I wanted to build the kind of products I couldn't find when I needed them most — made properly, priced honestly, and worth trusting."
